False Securities: Live sound performance by Evan Tan & Zul Mahmod E-mail
Wednesday, 26 October 2005

Imagine listening to sounds recorded by placing microphones in the ears, and discovering an aural details that you never realised. Very often, we only listen to things that brings to our attention. To many people with myopia, they are unable to focus their listening if their vision is blurred, because their ears are not trained to focus without the eyes. Some people on the other hand removes all visual distractions in order to eliminate attenuation on their hearing ability.

Experience binaural field recordings and digitally processed sounds in a ‘headphone only’ environment. Let your ears feed your mind with imagery through sounds. There will be 5 performances held over the next 5 months.
