How to complete full pop song music arrangement in 60 minutes E-mail
Wednesday, 30 May 2007

Pianologist is a blog site dedicate to giving piano lessons online. They recently wrote an article about how to do a song arrangement in 60 minutes.

OK, maybe you can't do it in 60 minutes, but the steps are described in the article, so if you follow closely, you should be able to complete one song in a couple of hours.

You can read the article here.

I can't do it in 60 minutes, because, if you read the article's last paragraph, 60 minutes is not enough to do a great job, and so far I've not been pressed to rush a project within 60 minutes.

I could however finish recording a piano solo arrangement in less than 15 minutes, but that's another story.

From 1 June 2007, Pianologist is giving away free music CDs if you do a review on what you see and feel about the site. The CDs are in limited edition composed by KCLau. Read the article for more information on how you can do that.

If you would like to know how the CD sounds, you have to wait for me to get my free CD and have a listen before I give my review. Then again, it's so easy to get one for yourself free of charge, why bother waiting for my review?

Visit Pianologist site for other great piano-related articles like improvisation, songwriting, and even a funny post about the various ways to play Beethoven's Fur Elise
